1. Profit charts
Profit charts have always been a joke. Think of who is creating this profit chart? Of course the guy trying to sell you the product is the guy that wrote the profit chart. How Objective do you think he could have been when he put the numbers together. One of these not so objective competitors in the adult turnkey business actually has you projected to make the following amount in your first 6 months in the Turnkey Adult Business:

So my 1 adult turnkey website has made me $65,511.67 in just 6 months in the Adult Turnkey Business Opportunity. Now, I know this is what you want to hear but it is just not reality. Think about it, if I purchased 20 of these adult turnkey websites in my 6th month in business I would have made a grand total of $1,310,233.40. People, this is just 1/2 a years time. If you think this is true I have many things I am dying to sell you. How about that ocean front property in Kansas business opportunity? Ever hear of that ocean they have there? Come on. If this crap was true I would be a millionaire in only 6 months in the adult turnkey business.
Of all people, wouldn't I, an expert in this field be making millions from this guys Turnkey Adult Websites if this was true? Why would I be typing this article to warn you? I would be on an island hanging out with my Financial Advisor. Don't fall for this bullshit. Please remember I warned you. Real business takes time. Your allowed to dream but I don't want your dream to turn into a nightmare. Run Like Hell when one tries to bullshit you. Don't be a VICTIM!
2. No Money Back Guarantee
The adult turnkey company above doesn't have one. I wonder why that is? Don't they believe in their own products and profit charts? I guess they don't or they would provide your money back; wouldn't they? If they don't believe in their own products or business opportunities why should you? You shouldn't!
3. Won't provide names of competitors
Why not? Don't they believe in their own turnkey adult websites? Sounds like they don't. If they don't believe in their own product why should you? They need to put their money were their mouth is. Watch out for claims such as "performance guarantee" or "satisfaction guarantee" which are meaningless. These are not even close to meaning money back guarantee. I guess they sound similar but are in actuality far from that. Bottom line is they don't believe in their adult turnkey design you shouldn't either. This should send up a definite red flag.
4. Don't offer FREE Hosting
Why Not? When you are starting out in this business you are not getting high traffic and tons of sign ups so it is only natural that you would not have to pay for hosting for at least the first year in business. The bottom line is hosting for your turnkey adult business should be FREE and there is no explanation for paying for hosting that any turnkey adult company has ever provided me that makes any sense. So why are you paying? Ask yourself the question and don't allow someone to bullshit you.
5. Don't offer FREE Initial SEO Marketing
Why Not? Do you know how to market your site on the Internet? Of course you don't. SEO is very foreign to seasoned webmasters. How are you going to fully optimize your site yourself by using some SEO tools that are sold all over the Internet? You're not going to be able to do this when you first purchase your turnkey adult website. Don't fall for an SEO package that contains site submissions, banner exchanges and the purchase of adult traffic from the web design company. The only money you will see from this is the money coming out of your pocket and into the designers. SEO Marketing needs to be completed in this business or you are going nowhere. It also has to be initially done by an expert in the field. Bottom line is if they won't perform the initial SEO you need to go elsewhere. If they claim they will do it than get it in writing. It is called a CONTRACT. Make sure you get one.
6. BBB Did not resolve issues.
There are a great deal of claims made by businesses when it comes to the BBB or in other words Better Business Bureau. Some Adult Turnkey Companies throw around this A rating with the BBB that they have and try and make it sound as if their shit doesn't stink. The A rating means exactly what it is supposed to at times but other times it can be incredibly deceiving. When a company has an A rating with the BBB they the company doesn't even have to amicably resolve the complaints. I bet you didn't realize that. Administratively Closed does not mean Resolved. It does not mean that the complaint was amicably resolved. It just means that the company responded to the complaint. That is all. Don't let people tell you otherwise. Check with the BBB on this one. It doesn't hurt to ask. When the majority of complaints are not resolved do you think your complaint will be? Go elsewhere! As a matter of fact run! Also please always take a look at the section that states "Advertising Review" for this is always interesting. If there is something negative there it has to tell you something about the company you are about to give your hard-earned money to. Think Twice. Maybe three times and then put your money back in your pocket.
7. No discussion of cost and risk.
I know this is not a popular area to hit on when you are trying to sell someone a product or service but wouldn't a legitimate company discuss this with you? Explaining that you shouldn't spend more than you have or shouldn't spend more than you can lose is not a very popular way to market your business but isn't this incredibly important to you? This is an investment in your future. Most companies will not touch on this topic at all. I wonder why? I guess if all you are doing is trying to sell a product or service without building a long-term business relationship you just don't care; but some of us do. Many companies fail to realize the financial benefit of the long-term business relationship and just for the sake of the almighty dollar will say anything to get you to buy but will never talk about cost and risk to you and your hard-earned money. 8. TV and Publishing Claims
I love to read the claims of many adult business opportunities on the Internet. It is almost always humorous except when it has to do with you wasting your money when you buy into claims without doing your own homework. In the Adult Turnkey Business claims such as "AS SEEN ON TV" and Front Page of a Major Magazine or Newspaper are so ridiculous it isn't funny but people wouldn't claim these unless people fall for them. I can set myself up on YouTube in about 10 minutes time and I can purchase article space in many publications for a few bucks. What channel were they on TV? Where is the proof that the article even exists? Call the newspaper and ask? Check out places such as scam dot com and ripoffreport dot com and type in the name of the person or company on Google and see what comes up. You might be shocked in a positive way if you haven't already spent your hard-earned money. Bottom line here is do your homework! You do homework for most everything else in life, so why don't you do it when it comes to spending your hard-earned money? I will never understand this.
9. Testimonials
If you believe testimonials than you will believe anything. Read them and laugh. Who takes the time to write something nice about a company in the adult market? Nobody! The answer is simple. The only people that write things about companies are either paid to or they have a complaint. Don't believe these down and out rags to riches testimonials. An Adult Turnkey Company saved you from Katrina? Single mom on welfare becomes billionaire! Please wake up to the fact that these are made up. Also, if the testimonial has a live link to the company itself who do you think did this? Do you truly believe the Katrina victim turned millionaire is the one that put a live link to the company in their testimonial? Why would they do that? Be empowered not a victim.
10. Claiming to be a huge company but when you call you always speak to same person.
When the owner of the company tells you they have 20 employees and yet they themselves answer the phone every time you call, does this add up? of course it doesn't. If one is so wealthy and in so much demand for speaking engagements how can one answer the phone all the time? What happened to the employees? Where are they? What CEO of a corporation with 20 or more employees answers the phone for the company? Common sense says NONE! We live in a virtual world these days where you can appear to have offices and phone numbers all around the world. Where am I typing this right now? You don't have a clue do you? I can fool you with the best of them. Believe me.
