Why Free Web Hosting May not be a Bad Thing

There is paid web hosting and there is free web hosting. Most people tend to steer clear of free web hosting as they tend to believe that "there is no free lunch". Free web hosting must have its catches?

Well, that really depends on your purposes and your position.

Why purpose?

If your web hosting is for your website which is for commercial purposes, such as an ecommerce web-store, you need absolute reliability and uptime. Every second of downtime is lost revenue. While some free web hosting providers guarantee uptime, you cannot hold it against them if their services do not meet expectations and cause your business to lose hundreds of dollars of revenue. Why? Because most free web hosts will have a clause in their terms that state that they do not guarantee uptime at all because they are a free service. Now, most free hosts will not even guarantee any uptime and those free web hosting services are provided on a best effort basis. You cannot risk hosting your crucial business website on such a free hosting plan.

However, for most individuals who are experimenting with building websites, free web hosting is the ideal choice as there is no monetary commitment and no lost for both parties. Everyone deserves a chance to learn and what better way to learn than to do it? Free web hosting plans from free hosts are the ideal platform for aspiring webmasters to start their web-building careers. Of course these free hosts may require something in return: visiting sponsors, displaying ads on hosted pages, reading emails, and lately, participating in online communities of the free web-host. This last option may not be a bad thing as online communities allow the users to interact and learn from each other.

There is also a last category of users who just want free web hosting for a personal site which they do not find the need to be up all the time and do not see the need to pay for it and do not see the need to do anything for it. There are some free web hosts out there who offer free hosting for nothing - just a simple sign up. Therefore, a clear purpose for using free web hosting is important. If the purpose is critical and there is no tolerance for problems, then free webhosting is not suitable. Other than that, free web hosting is not a bad thing.

Why position?

Web hosting plans are relatively affordable these days (some plans as low as $1 a month) that almost any working person can afford it for their websites. Therefore, paying for web hosting should not be a problem for those who have an income, or some savings to spend on developing their websites further. Also, any working adult should be able to afford using a Paypal account that most web hosts will accept as a form of payment. On the other hand, students and young people do not have much to spend, much less a Paypal or Credit Card with which to pay for hosting. For this group of people, free web hosting plans are the obvious alternatives if they wish to set up websites without paying anything for them.

To conclude, free web hosting may not be a bad thing for selected groups of people who have a specific purpose. For students and people looking to learn about developing websites, free web hosting is a good thing.

Virtual vs Dedicated vs Colo-Which Web Hosting Do I Need?

You know you need a web host, but you don't know where to start. So you do a web search to research potential solutions and get a bit overwhelmed with all the jargon: UNIX, dedicated servers, POP3, CoLo... the list goes on.

Step back a bit. You don't need to learn everything about web sites to choose a host. You do however need to know what a web host is, and the basic types of web hosting. This knowledge will lead you to know what type of hosting you need, and ultimately you can make a sound decision.

To begin, let's define the term. Web hosting is a service that hosts web pages on servers that can be accessed through the Internet. There are three primary categories of web hosting providers that cater to the requirements of site owners; these include virtual web hosting, dedicated web hosting, and co-located hosting. There are various sources online that offer detailed information and reviews on these services, but there are several details you should pay most attention to. The points to consider before selecting a web hosting provider include the number of clients they service, years in business, customer service reputation, hardware specifications, and backup routines. With that out of the way, let's jump in and explore the basic types of web hosting.

Dedicated hosting

A dedicated web server is basically like the name sounds it's dedicated to your site only. Typically it is leased to a site owner. The hosting company is responsible for the maintenance, backing up, security, and power management. The site owner manages the software-related issues.

Dedicated hosting is useful for websites that need extra bandwidth and system resources because of the use of technologies such as e-commerce software, customized server applications, and heavy traffic. Such websites are often better served by a dedicated hosting provider rather than developing and running an in-house solution. Dedicated hosting is possible with Windows, Mac, and Linux servers. A dedicated server can cost upward of $100 / month.

Pros and cons: 24/7 tech support is available. Speed, dependability, and customizability of website are often enhanced. The response time of dedicated servers is fast as compared to shared servers where the activity of other sites affects server speeds. Reliability and customizability of websites are improved as dedicated hosting offers greater storage capacity and greater freedom in terms of hardware configurations and software installations; hard drives can be upgraded and bandwidths increased with growth.

Shared servers and CoLo hosting are cheaper alternatives to dedicated hosting. Moreover, as the server is not owned by the site owner, security of sensitive data can be an issue.

Virtual hosting

Virtual hosting, also called shared hosting, is a popular and cost-effective web hosting solution. The hosting provider leases the website hosting server, services, and bandwidth to more than one website. Small and medium-sized websites, which do not have high traffic and have limited bandwidth requirements, benefit from virtual hosting. A virtual hosting offer by a service provider usually includes features such as Internet connection, domain name registration, file storage, email account, and may also include website design assistance. The cost of virtual hosting is in the range of $5-40 per month. It can be more or less depending upon the package selected.

Pros and cons: Virtual hosting enables the establishment of an online presence with no expensive equipment purchases required on part of the site owners and therefore is the perfect solution for SMBs.

One of the limitations of virtual hosting is that sites compete for the provider's service, this may result in slow server response times in periods of heavy traffic and make browsing inconvenient. Since websites hosted on a server may be grouped under a single IP address, there is a chance that a site owner may have to share an IP address with adult or scam sites. This can lead to debarring from search engine placements which will have an adverse effect on the traffic. As the software components are shared between websites, a site owner may not be able to personalize the website as per his business objectives and target audience.

While purchasing virtual hosting services, it is useful to have an idea of the total anticipated traffic during the day as well as the visits during the peak period. This helps in obtaining a package with sufficient bandwidth for immediate and near term needs. Also, the cost of an upgrade and changes to the package should be understood.

Co-location (Co-lo) hosting

In Co-location hosting, the server is owned by the site owner and it is leased at the co-lo facility, where it is installed along with other servers in the facility. A co-lo service enables site owners to make maximum use of network access points and the freedom to choose between telecom lines provided by the hosting company and other telecom lines. Co-location hosting enables site owners to utilize high bandwidth at a cost that is not significantly higher than that of a normal web hosting package. The site owner maintains the server while the hosting provider ensures smooth running by providing regular power supply and IT support.

Co-location hosting services can be standalone data centers or companies that operate by leasing server space from a co-location web hosting reseller. The cost of the server and the volume of rack space required by the servers of a site owner influence the cost of co-lo hosting. Servers that fit in with the dimensions of the racks can help to save costs; co-locating tower servers usually cost more. Additional services provided by the hosting provider and insurance are other factors that affect cost. The monthly cost of a co-lo service for a half-rack of server space can be up to $1000.

Pros and cons: The benefits of co-location hosting include temperature and humidity controlled environment for the servers; security from hacking, fire, and theft, provision of redundancy and backup. It enables the site owner to control the critical features of web hosting such as bandwidth allocation, routers, VPN, server space, and VLAN.

Site owners may not find it easy to locate a co-lo service that is situated close enough to facilitate easy and safe transfer of servers and at the same time provide the best connection speeds. Co-lo hosting is of greater advantage to those who have hosting experience and consequently are better placed to recover the costs involved.

Ultimately, it is the requirements of the site that dictate the choice of web hosting solution. Online stores and sites with heavy traffic are better off with dedicated hosting, personal blogs and small sites without ecommerce activity that do not have high bandwidth consumption can function with virtual hosting, and websites that require a high degree of customization and deal with sensitive data benefit from a co-lo hosting arrangement.

To determine what type of host you need, ask yourself what type of site you have, and it should all flow naturally from there.

The Fact Why Cheap Web Hosts Are Better Than Free Web Hosts

Cheap web hosts are far better than free web hosts. If you think that paying a few dollars a month for cheap web hosting makes you worse off than having your web site hosted for free, you are mistaken. It is very important to have a reliable host, especially if you are just starting out on the Internet, or if you have a new Internet business.

Choosing a free web hosting service means that you will lose some of the control of your website to the hosting company - they will insist on displaying advertising on your website that you have no control over. They may also impose seemingly random rules regarding the content you may include on your site. Don't think that this means only things like adult or pornographic content. Out of the blue they may limit your ability to feature completely normal subjects, such as weight loss or fitness related content. If, and when, this happens, all your hard work building your website will be wasted, if your free host decides to pull the plug on your site.

If you think that choosing a cheap web host means that you are getting inferior service, what do you think you will get for free? The quality of cheap hosting can be extremely high, since the industry is ultra-competitive. You are likely to get a great deal for around $5 - $10 per month with all the bells and whistles you may wish for. Naturally, this depends on your hosting needs, but a vast majority of websites have all the services and features they could ever want using just ordinary, cheap web hosts.

Now your know that a cheap web hosts provide much better value than a free host. Now you need to find out how to choose the best hosting company for YOUR particular needs.

So just how do you find a cheap web host that is reliable and reputable? A good web hosting review site is a great place to get started. There are many review sites out there, and it is important that you find a good one. Make sure that the web hosting review site you choose actually reviews the web hosts they recommend, and not only copy and paste the features the company already present on their own website. A good review site often has other related information available for free: guides, tutorials and such.

What a good review site does for you is to compile all the important details about several web hosting companies and then weighs this information against the price and the quality of service you can expect. Collecting this all this information on your own would take weeks or months to compile.

Once you have found a good web host review site, make up a short-list of hosting companies you are interested in, and give them a call in their customer service number to ask a question or two about their company. Once you find one that you feel comfortable with and that satisfies your web hosting needs, you have found your new cheap web hosting company.

Things to consider before changing hosting

You might have started out with a particular web hosting service provider and things were working fine for sometime. But, now your website has become a lot more popular that it is receiving a large number of visitors per minute, to an extent that the present server in which the web pages are hosted is not able to withstand the burgeoning traffic. Such a chance is higher, if you have hosted your website for free. When the current host is not able to meet the growing demands of bandwidth and storage, it is time to look for a more robust service provider. But, how to find one who exactly meets the requirements of your website, from the thousands of web hosting service providers available in the country and abroad?

Well, there are no hard and fast rules to it, but with the application of some simple thought and common sense, you could discern the ideal web hosting service provider from a lesser one. The following steps would help you to do so.

First, see if the web hosting service provider offers the required bandwidth and enough storage for all the required files associated with your website. This is very crucial, especially if your website has a higher prospect to grow further in the coming months or so. It is not that easy a job to change web hosts often.

Secondly, check out if the web host server is running in Windows or UNIX. When you host your website in the new server, if the files end up not compatible with the hosting software, then there is no point in the whole exercise. For example, if your webpage has Microsoft FrontPage extensions, it is of no use if the web hosting server does not offer Microsoft FrontPage compatibility. Remember, adaptability is of prime importance when it comes to efficient web hosting.

In an ideal scenario, a person browsing the website must not get an inkling that something has changed in the background. That is, the website, even after having hosted to a new server, must be able to provide the same level of features it used to offer earlier. In order to ensure that, while changing the web hosting service provider, make sure that the new one also offers the same features that the old host had been offering (such as auto responders and mail forwarding).

Avoid shared servers as much as possible. Even if you go for a shared server, checkout to see that it does not have any adult sites hosted in it. In busy hours, it could cause other websites to slow down considerably.

Finally, checkout various forums and review websites of existing users and see their opinion on the new web hosting service provider. Such resources provide a near perfect customer perception about the given service providers.

Once you have selected a web hosting service provider and hosted the website, don't detach yourself from the old host in one go. It is important to backup your website from the old host by a redirecting page to the new server for the first 48 hours at least. This design will ensure that the netizens will be able to view your new website even if its IP address has not propagated yet. It takes about two days for a website to get listed in most of the domain servers in the web.

Shared Web Site Hosting Vs Dedicated Server

With the emergence of e-commerce, the internet has opened up opportunities for anyone with ideas of making money online. Because of this, a website is essentially your key into cyberspace, and the web hosting company is the entity that holds it. While there are many types of services available, for most webmasters, it all boils down to these choices: shared hosting vs. a dedicated server. The two environments share similarities, but the differences are significant and can play a huge role in the success of your business.

Shared Hosting

Shared hosting is currently the most popular form of hosting available, sought after by personal users as well as small to medium sized businesses. As the name implies, a shared server supports the businesses of numerous users, possibly housing hundreds to thousands of sites. These users share a single machine, including all of its resources, such as disk storage, bandwidth, memory, CPU and even an IP address. Shared hosting is the preferred choice by many because it is extremely affordable. With the market being so competitive, you can easily find a shared host for as low as $5 per month.

Aside from being inexpensive and widely available, shared hosting simply makes a perfect solution for some users. The low monthly fee gets you a wealth of great features to help create your site and build a web presence. Some of the major attractions include various programming scripts, multiple email accounts, comprehensive web builders, powerful database systems and intuitive control panel software that allows to administer the entire operation with ease. Some companies even provide a number of e-commerce tools, such as shopping carts and free advertising bonuses, to get you off on the right foot.

Share the Server, Share the Risks

Price is important for obvious reasons, and if it's your main concern, then shared hosting may be the solution for you opposed to a dedicated server. Before making the final decision, it is only right that you are aware of the shared risks as well.

Search Engine Problems

Sharing an IP address puts you at the mercy of other users hosting on the server. For example, there could be spam or adult-oriented sites hosted on the server. Since many of these administrators often attempt to trick search engines into giving them undeserved rankings, search engines such as Alta Vista typically counter the attempt by banning the IP address and all of its websites from the index. This could limit the exposure of your site, all for something that has nothing to do with your company. Fortunately, some hosts will allow you to purchase an IP address of your own.

Performance Issues

One of the biggest knocks on shared hosting is attributed to slow server response. Simply a high-capacity computer, the server accepts requests for your files and serves them to the web so they can be accessed and viewed. Due to the fact that the server may be hosting a number of sites, the traffic from other users can have an adverse effect on your business. When the server has trouble responding, your visitors are the first to suffer. In more extreme cases, the pages might time out, or even worse, not load up at all. Because of this, you should always inquire within a provider to get an idea of approximately how many sites reside on each server and how much traffic those sites are receiving.

The Dedicated Server

Hosting your site on a dedicated server is more expensive by far. However, this option offers more benefits in the terms of control, flexibility and stability. Hence the name, a dedicated server is dedicated solely to your business, enabling you to host one or multiple sites without the traffic issues that relate to shared hosting. When placing the two side by side, dedicated hosting would be similar to owning your home instead of leasing an apartment. Following the same scenario, being a homeowner will cost a bit more, but the advantages tend to be well worth it.

More Secure and Stable

In this environment, you don't have to worry about any other users slowing down the operation with their traffic or crashing the server with poor scripting. This gives you greater security, stability, and control over the uptime of your website.

Better Performance

A dedicated server ensures a faster response, even with a high volume of traffic. Since the machine only has to worry about your data, instead of thousands of other websites, visitors can access your web pages and files with ease.

More Resources

With shared hosting, you are typically offered a certain amount of disk space and bandwidth each month. Owners of sites that exceed these resources are charged additional fees for doing so. On a dedicated server, you have the option of choosing a package with enough resources to suit the needs of your business. Understanding that your plan requires a higher capacity, a company will usually provide you with more than enough.

Conclusion

The purpose of this article is not to sway you in one way or the other. Despite the risks, there are a number of businesses using shared hosting with no problems at all. And while the dedicated server offers numerous benefits, this hosting solution is not for everyone. Now that you are more familiar with each service, choosing a provider for your business should be much easier.

What You Need to Know to Locate the PERFECT Web Host!

Introduction

A recent Google search for the term "website hosting" returned back 36,100,000 websites. Although we're living in the information age, there is such a thing as information overload! Once you have collected your hosting referrals or selected a handful to pick from, how can you compare all the different plans, their features and pricing to decide who the best match for your business is? The task may sound daunting, but I will provide you with the information you'll need to make an informed decision and select the best hosting plan for your budgeted dollar.

Assess Your Needs

Shopping for a web hosting provider without understanding what you need is like shopping for a new car with no idea of the features it needs to have: Do you need to haul with it? Does it need to seat more than two people? Does it need to have power windows, doors, locks? Etc.

The first thing you need to do is asses your needs. Here is a small set of questions to ask which will help you brainstorm:

1. How much disk space do I need? A 5 page website may only require 50mb, but a 200 page site may require 500mb to store all the pages.

2. How much bandwidth will I need?

3. Will I need access to utilities such as databases, chat rooms, forums, blogs or other medium where information can be stored and clients can connect with me?

4. Will I need to install and run special scripts? For example, opt-in mailing lists, calendars or help desk software? If so, are they operating system specific (Windows or Linux)?

5. What am I comfortable paying each month for service?

Once you have answered these questions you are ready to begin your assessment of different web hosting providers. If you are unable to answer some of the questions above, or would like additional assistance determining your needs, please contact Krista Garren for a complimentary consultation.

Assessing the Web Host

The next step is to begin to examine the different key areas of website hosting which will affect your decision:

o Disk space

o Bandwidth

o Scripts and utilities

o Dedicated/Shared servers

o Customers service/Support

o Uptime/Reliability

o Price

o Free Hosting Providers

1. Disk Space

This is the amount of storage space the provider is allotting you to store your website. Hosting plans will range anywhere from 25MB to Gigabytes in order to accommodate all range of needs. If your site is already constructed you can generally determine how much storage space is needed by totaling the file sizes of your pages and images. This is the minimum amount of space you will need for your website. A general rule of thumb is to purchase a plan which may have more resources than you currently need, but that provides you the ability to grow; after all, the overall goal is growth right?

2. Bandwidth

What is that anyway? Bandwidth is a measurement of how much information (data) can be transferred from your website and is calculated over a set period of time, usually a month. Each time someone requests content on your website (pages or images) from their web browser, this counts as bandwidth usage. Highly trafficked websites that have large pages or large images that have not been properly optimized will exhaust bandwidth resources much quicker than websites who optimize and control page and image file sizes. Prior to uploading your website, optimize your content and images to get the most bandwidth value for your dollar. Research the amount of traffic you anticipate having initially. For example, will you launch your marketing campaigns immediately after your site launches or will you wait a few months? If you have created a following for a new product whose launch is eagerly awaited, then it may be wise to select a larger plan up front to prepare for the upcoming traffic demands.

Be sure to inquire with the host about bandwidth limitations. Some providers will simply bill you for an overage, whereas others will automatically suspend your account (meaning no one can see your content) until the next billing cycle when your bandwidth is renewed. It would be devastating to try and pull up your website only to find that it has virtually vanished due to a bandwidth overage.

3. Scripts & Utilities

Will you need to store dynamic information online about your products, services or clients? If so you'll want to be sure your plan provides a database tool. Databases are extremely versatile and will vary in flavor depending on the operating system you select for your hosting server. For example, the main freeware database tool in a Linux hosting environment is MySql. Most hosts will offer this tool to you at no additional charge. However, your hosting plan may limit the number of databases you can create, so carefully review each offered hosting plan and take notes for decision making later on.

Other popular scripts which are generally included with your plan (or are available free of charge) include chat rooms, forums (phpBB/Invision Board etc), blogs, calendar programs and help desk software. These scripts included in your hosting plan are pre-configured by the provider to work on their server. Many hosts may even offer the Fantastico script package which is a collection of 36 different free scripts which can be installed on your website with the click of your mouse.

Some of these scripts and programs will require a database to function. For example, if your selected plan allowed only two MySql databases, and you needed to install a Chat Room, a Forum and a Calendar, all requiring one database each, you would be unable to do so; you wouldn't have enough database resources to accomplish this task. Carefully consider which utilities you will need, and take notes as to whether they will require a database to function. This will help you determine how many databases your plan needs to allow you to create.

One additional note is to carefully consider which 3rd party scripts you will want to install and what environment they require to run properly. 3rd party scripts are those which can be found on the Internet available for purchase or as freeware which can be installed on your website. Be aware however, that some scripts can run in both a Windows and Linux environment while others may be specific to only one operating system.

4. Dedicated/Shared Servers

The basic difference between a dedicated and shared server is that shared servers host many sites, whereas a dedicated server generally hosts one website.

One of the big advantages of a shared server is the cost savings. Shared hosting simply costs less. Spamming and how to avoid having your website blacklisted from different search engines has been a recent concern with shared hosting environments however. How does this impact me you might ask? If you are sharing a server with an adult website that sends out spam and is eventually dropped from the search engines because of it, your site (once listed) could inadvertently be dropped if you share the same IP address. This is because shared hosting environments usually assign many sites to one IP address. Ask the provider whether a unique IP address can be assigned to your website (generally for an additional small monthly fee) to guard against this should you elect a shared hosting server.

Dedicated servers are best for big, highly trafficked websites which will require large amounts of server resources to run. One of the downsides to shared hosting is that the server's resources are divided across all the sites it's hosting and answering page requests for. If you are in a dedicated environment you can better monitor your server resources. The downside is that dedicated servers will run you generally $50 per month or more. Shared hosting can be purchased for as little as 5$ a month. Most small or medium sized businesses will have neither the website size or bandwidth requirements to make dedicated servers cost effective.

5. Customer Service/Support

Pre-Sales

What is your preference on customer service? Do you prefer to call in and speak to someone live, or are you satisfied with using email to have your questions answered? Many providers will have a toll-free number you can call to address pre-sales questions while others may provide a pre-sales FAQ document, live chat option or a member's forum where you can scan posts and find answers to commonly asked questions. As a consumer, you want to make sure that you have some options to choose from.

Support

Many providers will offer support through online Help Desk software. Rather than tying up phone lines with live help, they use their Help Desk to facilitate support request from users. Some providers may have Forums where you can post questions and receive assistance from other hosting customers. If you feel you are not Internet savvy, inquire whether you can receive live phone support. Be aware though that you may be required to pay an additional fee for this privilege.

You should be able to contact your hosting provider by more than one method. Be careful of any provider who does not provide adequate methods of communication and limits you solely to email contact for both pre-sales questions and support. Customer friendly hosts generally provide you a contact telephone for questions and most likely it will be toll-free. Should you elect a hosting provider that does not provide any telephone contact, do your research! Do they have testimonials? Do they have a forum where you can openly connect with other hosting customers and ask questions or request help? Has feedback about their service been positive? In this instance you'll have to rely on any posted question/answer responses and your intuition.

6. Uptime/Reliability

Uptime is an important factor to selecting your provider. Does the provider offer a performance guarantee? Specifically, will they rebate you some (or all) of your monthly fees if you experience prolonged periods of downtime? Do they offer a money back guarantee? Most hosts will refund all or part of your monthly fees (provided you weren't spamming or doing anything illegal) if you are not satisfied with their services after a period of time and choose to cancel your service.

You can also search for a testimonials page to see what their own customers are saying about them. Ask friends and colleagues whom they host their site with, and research the provider to determine if they would be a good fit for your website.

7. Price

Hosting normally will cost you somewhere between $5.00 - $10.00 dollars per month depending on the plan's features. Anything below $5.00 per month, although it may sound like a great deal up front, may have to cut corners to offer such rates. Ever heard the saying "you get what you pay for?". Do some research on lower cost providers to determine how they are using your dollar and what you are receiving for it. Likewise anything above $12.00 per month should be packed with features, or possibly include a complimentary domain name* and something other providers do not offer.

* Free domain names can be tricky! ALWAYS check with the provider and ask if the name will be registered in your name with you as the legal owner, or if it's to be registered with the hosting company and leased to you. Often times if registered to the host, you will be unable to take this name with you if you change service providers. Efforts in marketing and search engine optimization and branding can be lost in these situations and result in major headaches and increased spending.

8. Free Hosting Providers

Website hosting has become so affordable in today's market that it's not worth the aggravation a *free* service will put you through to utilize their resources. I tagged the word free because there's really no such thing as free web hosting providers.

Most free services are offered in exchange for placing ads or other annoying features automatically onto your website. Displaying ads on websites is a process that requires careful consideration - even when you are personally selling ad space on your own site. Placement of the ad, layout and content are all key factors in ensuring your ads do not drive away your target audience. When working with a free hosting service, most likely you do not have control over these items, and could not ensure that their ads would compliment your products and services. Far better to pay the $5 per month and secure reliable hosting that places no demands on your website than to select a *free* host and take your chances.

Closing

The main idea behind selecting a good web hosting provider is to think ahead. Always purchase as much bandwidth and disk space you can at the most affordable price. Your website will need to have room to grow with your changing business needs without having to continuously switch hosting providers.

What to Look for in Web Hosting

The first questions you have to ask yourself are: how much space and bandwidth do I need; do I want one site or several sites; how much will I have to spend; am I going to use an SQL database; how much uptime does the web host offer; does this site host spammy adult sites; what extras are offered; are there script limitations; do they provide a control panel; and if my site gets too big, what is the next level and how much does it cost?

Bandwidth

Let's take bandwidth for instance. If you are starting a brand new site and don't have a lot of other sites to link to it, which, by the way, is becoming increasingly less efficient due to changing search engine rules, it may take over a year to build any real traffic to even worry about this point. But, with bandwidth being a lot more reasonable lately, why not go ahead and pay the 6-10 dollars a month for 1 - 4 gigabytes currently available. After all, your goal is to grow right? So get something a few sizes too big and grow into it. Don't think that you necessarily have to pay a lot of money to get a good web host. You could just as easily spend 20 dollars or more a month and have terrible uptime and any number of hassles. Now if your site is going to be filled with images, especially wallpaper size images, then get as much bandwidth as your budget will allow. If you plan on having a growing site and it becomes even moderately popular, you'll need all the bandwidth traffic allowable you can get. Watch out for hosts that claim they have unmetered bandwidth. Read carefully, especially if we're talking about a host that charges below 5 dollars a month. It's better to have a clear number that you can keep track of in your control panel. You don't won't them to come up and give you a generic excuse like "Your site is using an unfair amount of system resources or traffic as compared to our other customers so therefore we have to shut you down". Please note that system resources and bandwidth are two different issues when dealing with a web host. For instance a script that locks up and has a bug could cause a server to use a great deal of system resources that could cause problems between you and your web host if you are on a shared account versus a dedicated server. So do your research on the type of script you want to run. Bandwidth is the amount of traffic going out from your site including your images, clips, pages, etc. As far as images, sounds, and clips this is easily monitored in your control panel as long as you have a clear number of what you are allowed to use. Unmetered bandwidth could mean anything and really is worthless in the long run if you plan on getting a lot of traffic sometime in the future. And why wouldn't you want to get as much traffic as possible for your site?

One Domain or More

Some hosts allow to host more than one domain on your account. This could be a very great way to cut costs especially with new sites that may take a while to build up traffic. Once any of your sites grows too large you can always move it. Please be cautious though heavy interlinking between sites on the same i.p. address may get you dinged by search engines.

Price

For the most part 6-10 dollars per month is what I consider great area to be in cost wise. Anything lower than 6 and I would get nervous. Anything higher than 10-15 per month and it better have a lot to offer that I can't get anywhere else like bandwidth, space, etc. That's a very basic rule of thumb from my own experience, but it all depends mainly on what your site needs are.

Scripts, Databases, etc

You need to know if there are any script limitations. Are there scripts like cgi, php, etc you want to use that your web host doesn't allow? Of course most are going to work with php and cgi with no problem. Also find out about how many SQL databases you can get and if they offer it at all. Databases can be a very powerful tool that can save you tons of time and are usually necessary for forums.

Uptime and Customer Reviews

Do research. Check out sites with reviews from actual customers. You need to see what your average joe says about the uptime and other factors of the web host you're thinking about using. Remember, most people will complain more than take the time to praise, but a really good host will have a lot more praise then criticism.

Spam and Adult Sites

A new thing is starting to come up. Certain search engines may penalize sites that are on a server with red flag sites like gambling, spam sites, adult, etc. Gambling and adult sites tend to spam a lot so search engines may be penalizing whole servers that house these sites. Make sure your web host will put you on a server free of these types of websites.

Think Ahead

Always think ahead to save time and money having to movie to another web host. Always get as much bandwidth and web space you can get at an affordable price. Ask yourself if your site grows faster than you predicted what is the next level with the web host your using? How much is it going to cost to upgrade if necessary, and what do they offer? Some companies that offer reasonable rates and good plans only offer one plan, but they tend to increase their plan's offerings every year or so. So keep that in mind as well when considering how much bandwidth and space your going to need in the coming year or so.

Discover Why Adult Toy Parties Has Become the 'Toy Story' For Adults

They're calling it "Toy Story for Adults", and it's easy to see why. Today Adult toys, lingerie and other adult products are holding their own as major players on the market. This growing popularity has led an increasing percentage of the population to celebrate the biggest moments in their lives with an adult toy part.

Discover new ways to spice up your love life

What is an adult toy party? The name is usually a pretty good tip off for most people. It's a chance for adults to get together and "toy shop", but these aren't Cabbage Patch dolls or Power Rangers-although "Woody" might be an appropriate addition to the evening! These parties feature toys and games that most parents would never dream of letting their little girls play with, featuring today's hottest line-up of adult toys and accessories.

More importantly, it gives women of all ages the opportunity to get together and discuss not only their personal lives, but also the ways they'd like to improve their relationships. Imagine the possibilities! Most toy parties are privately hosted, and the ten to twelve women who usually get together to celebrate these events are often close friends. That means that there can be a no-holds barred, completely straightforward conversation on relationships.

Host your own adult party and receive free samples

If you're looking for a way to jazz up your personal relationships, or even just to make your man's eyes pop out of his head a little faster when you walk in the room, an adult toy party is the way to do it. Not only do you often walk away with free samples (especially if you happen to be the host), you also have first dibs on some of the hottest adult toys on the market-complete with demos.

The demos ensure that not only do you spend the night looking at amazing adult toys, you also get to learn how to use them-and how to get your man worked up enough that you're going to be reaping the benefits for months afterward. Most of these parties claim that they'll teach you tricks and techniques you've never heard of, and unless you happen to have memorized the Kama Sutra they're probably right. When you walk away from an adult party you'll be leaving with the knowledge that with a little less talk and a lot more action you can have your man on his knees in no time.

An adult party is an excellent way to breathe new life into your personal relationships, connect with your girlfriends and step out of your shell to discover everything that the world has to offer.

How To Start An Adult Turnkey Business - An Educational Guide

1. Choose niche market. You need to be very careful with choosing your niche market. Most people want to choose a very common market such as the typical blonde haired blue-eyed girl but this does not make any money in today's Turnkey Adult Business. You need to choose a niche market such as midgets or gay bondage. Something Different.

2. Choose domain. Choose your domain one of two ways or for the best of both worlds go for both branding and seo'd domains. Branding is great for getting people to remember the name of the business but seo marketing domains are well positioned by the search engines. My rule of thumb is to have at least one targeted keyword in your domain name.

3. Research content companies to see the quality of content and payout to you. Most people just look at payout over niche content and the quality of such. When a Turnkey Adult Content Company offers you 80% or so of each sign up by using their content it sounds terrific but one must be careful. This 80% might mean you never get a sign up because the design of the turnkey adult website or the content is horrible. So the basic point is that 80% of 0 = 0. I will take 50% in a heartbeat for a turnkey website with good quality HD content that has a professional design to it. Don't fall for high percentage because many times you are being set up. 50% of niche market with HD quality content might bring in 5 sign ups a day whereas the 80% payout content company may not get you a single sign up. Plus you have to look at recurring billing. The 50% content company may keep the customer on the adult turnkey site for many months. The revenue adds up. The 80% might not get a sole to stay past the first month. Also ask yourself the question would I join the site? If you would not join why would anyone else?

4. Do your homework on the turnkey adult design business you may want to work with. Check scam.com, ripoffreport.com or complaintsboard.com. You can also type in the name of the owner on Google. You can type in the company name and then type scam or complaints at the end for example: ABC Design Scam. Be careful with BBB reports for it is simple to make it appear you have no complaints when your company is actually being sued by everyone and their sister. When there is an active lawsuit against a company the BBB might have them in good standing because the lawsuit is not counted against the company by the BBB. Look for quality sites that you would join yourself. If you would not join the site you are purchasing why would anyone? Price should be low but not ridiculously low such as $70 per month for 26 sites. In this type of situation you are getting what you pay for. Again if you would not join why would anyone else?

5. Hire a Turnkey Adult Business who attempts to educate you on the industry. Remember #4 on this list and type in all of the turnkey adult design companies and owners names. Please note: some owners hide their names or utilize a different name to fool you and also to attempt to fool some watchdog agencies especially the BBB.

6. Hosting is a big issue people forget about. Hosting can be very expensive if you listen to many of the owners of turnkey adult design companies. Shouldn't hosting be FREE in at least your 1st year or damn close to it? You should not have to worry about hosting until your second year in the turnkey adult business. Some charge $50 - $150 a month from the onset of your adult turnkey business. This is absurd to say the least.

7. Billing can also be very expensive but in the turnkey adult business market you usually do not have to pay anything. For example in many agreements with content companies, the content companies themselves take care of all billing charges. This saves you thousands of dollars and a great deal of headaches.

8. Now you have to Seo or Search Engine Optimization the adult turnkey site for the search engines. I usually map out my site by the titles I want to use for each page of the site. Once I do this I then name the pages appropriately to what I want people to type in to find the pages. Page names should be relevant to the niche your site is in. For example: Blondeshairedblueeyedgirls.com/tour1.php should be renamed Blondehairedblueeyedgirls.com/niche-website-adult-business.php. If you are targeting niche website adult business. For some reason many people do not take advantage of this. We do not know why. Index1, Index2 is doing you no good unless you want your site popular for the word index.

9. Page text. The easiest way to write page text is just that, to write it. Don't worry about using your targeted keywords just yet, just write. Write at least 500 words per page. This is where many web designers go down the wrong road. You see, they load up on graphics to make the site look all pretty but it backfires on them because the search engines will hate it. Graphics are great when they are on the page with at least 500 words targeting the main targeted keywords for that page. This is very simple but you need to take the time to perform this. Some people seem to think this is not important; we have no clue why.

10. Meta Tags - Title, Description, Keyword, Header, Alt, anchor. Out of all of these anchors, titles and headers are most important in my opinion. This is a whole separate article and for a full explanation of all I would have to write about 10 pages of text. I would send you over to searchengineguide.com or searchenginewatch.com. Full disclosure I have no relationship with these companies other than that I read what they write. They are very knowledgeable people.

11. Links. Between titles, headers and links you have covered most of optimization of your turnkey adult site. Links are basically people placing a button, banner or text on their site that brings the customer to you when they click on it. How do you get people to link to you? Good question. You can contact people in the same niche and request they link to you and you in turn will link to them. You can also submit your site to all of the adult search engines, directories and niche specific top lists. Start blogs regarding your niche market and write articles once you become an expert on the industry. The two resources listed in #10 of this article are good places to learn everything you need to know about links even though they don't target the adult turnkey business.

How to Find Adult Dating Fun in Derbyshire

About three quarters of a million people live in Derbyshire but between a quarter and third of the population live in Derby, whilst 120,000 live in Chesterfield. Other settlements in the county are generally much smaller and the Peak District National Park occupies a large area of sparsely populated countryside. These factors are not all that favourable to a flourishing adult dating and swing scene.

The most vibrant area is naturally enough, the city of Derby itself. Here the adult dating scene is reasonably active with some privately hosted parties taking place for those in the know. In the past, there have been a few attempts to establish a swinger party venue in the city but it no longer functions and most Derbyshire swingers travel over the county border to Sheffield where a very large and well organised adult party venue welcomes them with excellent facilities. Similarly, a small venue sprang to life in Matlock for a short time but failed to live up to its initial promises and closed without any further attempts to reopen some years back.

Getting an idea of how much swinger and adult dating fun occurs in the county can be reckoned by examining how many advertising members the principle online adult dating sites are showing for the county.

My ownership of one such swinger club, allowed me to do more than this and to take into account actual membership figures over the years. It is important to consider that quite a few people sign up with more than one swinger clubs. This was allowed for when assessing the total figures for the county.

According to this method of reckoning, my educated guess for the numbers of individuals and couples active in adult dating in Derbyshire is somewhere in the region of 600 comprising of 280 couples, 170 single males and 150 single females.

The figures should be a reasonably heartening sign to any single male who is attracted to seeking out other adult fun seekers in Derbyshire that the opportunities for a whole lot of fun are unquestionably out there.

As stated above, there is currently, no established adult party club venue in Derbyshire at present although venues have existed in the past and could possibly start up again in the future. Personally, I don't think it really matters at lot because in my experience it is commonly the case that the most excellent parties are more often not the commercial venue ones but rather those that are privately hosted.

The way to receive invites to adult parties held in private residential property and hosted by other adult fun seekers in Derbyshire, is to sign up with a successful and popular adult dating club. Next, take some of time and effort to compose a compelling profile and set about making yourself a popular member on the site. You'll have to be absolutely focussed on devoting a great deal of time and energy logged into the site, participating in chat rooms and forums. There are a number of advice articles that we have prepared on this subject. The articles will teach you the secrets of getting the best out of online adult dating sites and how to develop your online charisma.

I hope that my articles will be of of serious interest and help to couples and singles who are interested in adult dating or finding out more about the swinger lifestyle. More invaluable help and support of this kind is always available from our swingers club to visitors and members. Researching Adult Turnkey Business Opportunities - 10 Red Flags

Research Turnkey Adult Business Opportunities Or Be Sorry - 10 Red Flags

The Internet offers Adult Internet Businesses certain liberties that for years businesses did not have before and you need to protect yourself from these businesses utilizing these liberties in a negative way. Turnkey Adult Businesses don't have to meet you face to face because they just discuss business opportunities over the Internet. Some of these web design businesses will tell you exactly what you want to hear when attempting to sell you a product or service and it is soley up to you to ask the right questions regarding these Adult Turnkey Business Opportunities and to perform your due diligence before signing a contract or handing out your credit card information for payment. This article targets the Adult Turnkey Website Business but it can be used for any business opportunities you may one day want to do involve yourself with. We have listed 10 Red Flags we believe are extremely important for any prospective Turnkey Website Business endeavor you may consider.

1. Profit charts

Profit charts have always been a joke. Think of who is creating this profit chart? Of course the guy trying to sell you the product is the guy that wrote the profit chart. How Objective do you think he could have been when he put the numbers together. One of these not so objective competitors in the adult turnkey business actually has you projected to make the following amount in your first 6 months in the Turnkey Adult Business:

1. $2,673.67

2. $6,291.00

3. $9,365.00

4. $12,582.00

5. $15,727.00

6. $18,873.00

So my 1 adult turnkey website has made me $65,511.67 in just 6 months in the Adult Turnkey Business Opportunity. Now, I know this is what you want to hear but it is just not reality. Think about it, if I purchased 20 of these adult turnkey websites in my 6th month in business I would have made a grand total of $1,310,233.40. People, this is just 1/2 a years time. If you think this is true I have many things I am dying to sell you. How about that ocean front property in Kansas business opportunity? Ever hear of that ocean they have there? Come on. If this crap was true I would be a millionaire in only 6 months in the adult turnkey business.

Of all people, wouldn't I, an expert in this field be making millions from this guys Turnkey Adult Websites if this was true? Why would I be typing this article to warn you? I would be on an island hanging out with my Financial Advisor. Don't fall for this bullshit. Please remember I warned you. Real business takes time. Your allowed to dream but I don't want your dream to turn into a nightmare. Run Like Hell when one tries to bullshit you. Don't be a VICTIM!

2. No Money Back Guarantee

The adult turnkey company above doesn't have one. I wonder why that is? Don't they believe in their own products and profit charts? I guess they don't or they would provide your money back; wouldn't they? If they don't believe in their own products or business opportunities why should you? You shouldn't!

3. Won't provide names of competitors

Why not? Don't they believe in their own turnkey adult websites? Sounds like they don't. If they don't believe in their own product why should you? They need to put their money were their mouth is. Watch out for claims such as "performance guarantee" or "satisfaction guarantee" which are meaningless. These are not even close to meaning money back guarantee. I guess they sound similar but are in actuality far from that. Bottom line is they don't believe in their adult turnkey design you shouldn't either. This should send up a definite red flag.

4. Don't offer FREE Hosting

Why Not? When you are starting out in this business you are not getting high traffic and tons of sign ups so it is only natural that you would not have to pay for hosting for at least the first year in business. Now these Adult Turnkey Businesses many times will attempt to justify their hosting fees as a maintenance or as a fee for updating content. The problem I have with this is that 9 times out of 10 they are not updating content. There is a third-party doing this if anyone is. The bottom line is hosting for your turnkey adult business should be FREE and there is no explanation for paying for hosting that any turnkey adult company has ever provided me that makes any sense. So why are you paying? Ask yourself the question and don't allow someone to bullshit you.

5. Don't offer FREE Initial SEO Marketing

Why Not? Do you know how to market your site on the Internet? Of course you don't. SEO is very foreign to seasoned webmasters. How are you going to fully optimize your site yourself by using some SEO tools that are sold all over the Internet? You're not going to be able to do this when you first purchase your turnkey adult website. Don't fall for an SEO package that contains site submissions, banner exchanges and the purchase of adult traffic from the web design company. The only money you will see from this is the money coming out of your pocket and into the designers. SEO Marketing needs to be completed in this business or you are going nowhere. It also has to be initially done by an expert in the field. Bottom line is if they won't perform the initial SEO you need to go elsewhere. If they claim they will do it than get it in writing. It is called a CONTRACT. Make sure you get one.

6. BBB Did not resolve issues.

There are a great deal of claims made by businesses when it comes to the BBB or in other words Better Business Bureau. Some Adult Turnkey Companies throw around this A rating with the BBB that they have and try and make it sound as if their shit doesn't stink. The A rating means exactly what it is supposed to at times but other times it can be incredibly deceiving. When a company has an A rating with the BBB they the company doesn't even have to amicably resolve the complaints. I bet you didn't realize that. Administratively Closed does not mean Resolved. It does not mean that the complaint was amicably resolved. It just means that the company responded to the complaint. That is all. Don't let people tell you otherwise. Check with the BBB on this one. It doesn't hurt to ask. When the majority of complaints are not resolved do you think your complaint will be? Go elsewhere! As a matter of fact run! Also please always take a look at the section that states "Advertising Review" for this is always interesting. If there is something negative there it has to tell you something about the company you are about to give your hard-earned money to. Think Twice. Maybe three times and then put your money back in your pocket.

7. No discussion of cost and risk.

I know this is not a popular area to hit on when you are trying to sell someone a product or service but wouldn't a legitimate company discuss this with you? Explaining that you shouldn't spend more than you have or shouldn't spend more than you can lose is not a very popular way to market your business but isn't this incredibly important to you? This is an investment in your future. Most companies will not touch on this topic at all. I wonder why? I guess if all you are doing is trying to sell a product or service without building a long-term business relationship you just don't care; but some of us do. Many companies fail to realize the financial benefit of the long-term business relationship and just for the sake of the almighty dollar will say anything to get you to buy but will never talk about cost and risk to you and your hard-earned money. If cost and risk are not extremely important to you in your Turnkey Adult Business Endeavors you need to get yourself examined because their might be something medically wrong with you that you are not aware of. Be careful!

8. TV and Publishing Claims

I love to read the claims of many adult business opportunities on the Internet. It is almost always humorous except when it has to do with you wasting your money when you buy into claims without doing your own homework. In the Adult Turnkey Business claims such as "AS SEEN ON TV" and Front Page of a Major Magazine or Newspaper are so ridiculous it isn't funny but people wouldn't claim these unless people fall for them. I can set myself up on YouTube in about 10 minutes time and I can purchase article space in many publications for a few bucks. What channel were they on TV? Where is the proof that the article even exists? Call the newspaper and ask? Check out places such as scam dot com and ripoffreport dot com and type in the name of the person or company on Google and see what comes up. You might be shocked in a positive way if you haven't already spent your hard-earned money. Bottom line here is do your homework! You do homework for most everything else in life, so why don't you do it when it comes to spending your hard-earned money? I will never understand this.

9. Testimonials

If you believe testimonials than you will believe anything. Read them and laugh. Who takes the time to write something nice about a company in the adult market? Nobody! The answer is simple. The only people that write things about companies are either paid to or they have a complaint. Don't believe these down and out rags to riches testimonials. An Adult Turnkey Company saved you from Katrina? Single mom on welfare becomes billionaire! Please wake up to the fact that these are made up. Also, if the testimonial has a live link to the company itself who do you think did this? Do you truly believe the Katrina victim turned millionaire is the one that put a live link to the company in their testimonial? Why would they do that? Be empowered not a victim.

10. Claiming to be a huge company but when you call you always speak to same person.

When the owner of the company tells you they have 20 employees and yet they themselves answer the phone every time you call, does this add up? of course it doesn't. If one is so wealthy and in so much demand for speaking engagements how can one answer the phone all the time? What happened to the employees? Where are they? What CEO of a corporation with 20 or more employees answers the phone for the company? Common sense says NONE! We live in a virtual world these days where you can appear to have offices and phone numbers all around the world. Where am I typing this right now? You don't have a clue do you? I can fool you with the best of them. Believe me.

Don't be so trusting. Do your homework and take responsibility for your future business endeavors. Once again, this is your HARD-EARNED money at stake.

Legal Issues About Adult Web Hosting

There are many legal issues to think about when it comes to adult web hosting. Laws are different according to different places and with the internet, it is a huge problem because it is international and without borders. Therefore, a huge role is put down on the webmaster to whether they want to abide law or not because they are the ones that decide what sort of content goes onto their website and what don't. So, if they have good faith, they will avoid putting up content that can be considered as obscene and not suitable for minors.

However, the definition of obscene would vary from one individual to another. Most people would say that adult web hosting is obscene. Any form of pornography will be directly inflicted into this category. So, if there is a case of a 12 year old visiting your website with obscene materials, they could press charges against you. So, if this happens, you as the webmaster will require the services of a lawyer to defend you.

The word 'obscene' in adult hosting refers to things like child pornography, rape and incest. You will see that there are plenty of websites that claim that they have this kind of content but most of the time, those content are re-enactment or play-acted scenes. In any case that they are real, the webmaster will be in a lot of trouble.

To test if a website is breaking the law, you could use a popular test called the 'Miller Test'. If a website is considered not having any artistic, literary, scientific or cultural merits after the test, the website will be considered as obscene. Therefore, you can use your website like a magazine an include content on those topics; you can reduce the chance of getting your website declared as obscene.

So, it is not easy to start an adult hosting. If you want to do so, you must begin with a personal lawyer to explain to you about the steps legally. Although you can avoid legal pitfalls but there is no guarantee in adult hosting that you will not have any problems once you have your website up and running.

There should always be a warning page for visitors when they arrive at your website. This is to warn the visitors that your website may contain adult content. It can be a disclaimer or a pop up page to warn the visitors that the materials you have should not be viewed by anyone who is under 21 years of age. The warning page should also mention that ignoring this warning would be an illegal act.

However, even with the warning page, you still have to take responsibility on keeping the minors away from viewing your adult material. If an underage person still proceeds to view your adult content, you could still be in trouble. Therefore, the warning page is an act in good faith but it is just a weak precaution to remind the minors that they should not be viewing the adult materials.

Webmasters can use Age Verification System to further enhance their efforts to prevent minors from accessing their adult website. Although it may not be perfect but this system provides an added feature to ensure that your visitor is above 18 years of age.

Some final tips: In case you are new in web hosting

This is why web hosting reviews sites like WebHostingSecretRevealed.com are important.

Learn A to Z About Adult Web Hosting

In the internet today, vast flow of information is happening every single moment. Therefore, the content that is shared throughout the internet is huge. Adult content is now a normal sort of content which you can find in the internet. Also known as pornography, the internet has filled with it since internet started. Displaying adult content is legal if it obeys the so-called cyber law.

For an adult website to have its existence in the internet, the website must first be hosted by a web hosting provider that accepts adult content material. To host a website with adult content, features like storage, bandwidth, price and uptime should all be considered. An adult content website is basically the same as any other website out there. The only thing different is the extra control injected needed for the content of the website. This is important because of the different users out there who might access the website with adult content.

For a website with adult content, it will need a massive amount of server bandwidth because a website with this kind of nature will usually involve image hosting and downloading activities. With downloading function provided to the users, the website must have a huge amount of disk space to store all the files such as images and videos.

With that kind of nature, it seems that a dedicated server is more likely to be suitable for an adult content website. With dedicated server hosting, you can have more control and access over your data. For websites that would like to keep clients details, a co-location server is a must. This is because it can connect the computer you use with the hardware and connect it to the internet. A secure environment, technical support and rack space is also provided by the hosting plan. The only thing that needs to be accomplished is the software, hardware as well as maintenance for all the equipment used for the hosting of the website.

No matter what, for an adult website to be successful, the webmaster must get a good web hosting so that they will good great support and reliability. The most important thing is to know what the users would like and if we think like the user, we will know what to have in a website, therefore the success will follow.

How To Start A Money Making Adult Turnkey Business

10 Steps To Adult Website Turnkey Business Profitability

I thought to write this because of the hundreds of calls I receive every week regarding horror stories of prospective webmasters spending thousands of dollars to Start A Money Making Adult Turnkey Business. The reason their calling me is for me to perform miracles making them money after they spent thousands of dollars on an Adult Turnkey Website Business that will never make money. Basically they fell victim to ridiculous financial promises that were very unrealistic and could never occur in a million years. This is the typical garbage that some Turnkey Adult Website Companies spit out to make it sound as if it is so easy to make a million dollars overnight in this industry. The good news is there is good money to be made in the Adult Turnkey Website Business but you need to partner with the correct people; that are knowledgeable and resourceful.

10 Steps That Are Most Important In Starting A Money Making Adult Turnkey Website Business

I know this from first hand experience. I am not some writer who is writing about the Adult Website Design market; I am an Adult Turnkey Business owner writing about the best way to make money by owning your own Turnkey Website Adult Business.

Niche Markets - Don't target the typical blonde haired blue-eyed girls - no mega sites that have 10 different types of content or Adult Turnkey Website Design Companies that claim that their websites have just shemales when they actually have all types of content in the members section. People are passionate about their own niche market they enjoy. They get pissed when they see other types of content in the members section of the so-called niche specific Adult Turnkey Business.

Keep the Adult Turnkey Website simplified - Easy navigation. Don't have clutter on your website or too much happening or moving at once on the website for it turns prospective business off. Adult Turnkey Websites such as this are horrible to the eye and turn people off. There are many studies that show this and they all can't be lying.

Your Adult Turnkey Website Business must have High Definition content or as close to HD as possible. HD = more sign ups. You must also have at least 5 teaser high definition quality video clips to increase conversion to full sign ups. Most companies offer nothing on their Adult Websites and this is a huge mistake.

You must use Affiliate Website Programs that bring in extra revenue for your website. Make them as niche specific as possible. We like to use scam free affiliate programs such as cams, personals, toys, video on demand. There are too many to mention but I think you get the point. Again our goal is to make these affiliate website programs as niche specific as possible to match the niche theme of the entire Adult Web Site Turnkey Business.

Marketing - Do your homework and research, research and research. Don't depend on a marketing company to do all this work for you. The Adult Website is yours not theirs so please get educated in the field. You need to take responsibility for the marketing of your own website. Don't ever think that the marketing company that you hire is going to be able to perform all the marketing on its own. If you owned any other business; I am sure you would get very involved in it. If you want to make money with your Adult Web Site Business you need to treat this as any other type of business.

Low Cost Low Risk - Adult TurnKey Businesses should not cost what most adult design companies charge. Most of you are new to the business so why jump into some foreign business, spending all your money upfront? Owning your own adult web site business is not gambling; it is long-term business. You have to keep your start-up costs low or you will fail miserably. Watch out for hidden costs, such as hosting that adds up quickly. One thing people don't consider is how easy it is for a Website Design Company to increase your hosting fee after only a few months in business. Some charge $50 - $100 a month per site for hosting when you purchase your website and then about 3 or 4 months later tell you that you are using too much bandwidth and double your hosting fee. The first year in business has to come with FREE hosting or I would stay away from the web design company. Keep your money for smart marketing. This is an efficient way to use your money. Do your homework on this long-term business endeavor so you don't waste your hard-earned marketing money.

Watch Out For Sharks - If you take the bait they will pounce on you with horrible Website Adult Design and extremely high prices. When companies make claims such as "As Seen On TV" or as being a member of the chamber of commerce you need to run like hell. This is an Adult Turnkey Website Business and you don't get on television for owning one. Also, All you have to do to be listed with the Chamber of Commerce is to have a business and pay the dues. Also, don't buy into these crazy Testimonials about how the guy has saved their marriage and family. WOW! Watch Profit Charts. $5,000 profit in your 4th month in the adult web site business from 1 site? So if I purchase 100 sites from the design companies that claim this I will be making $500,000.00 in my 4th month in business? At this rate I would make more than 5 Million dollars in my 1st year in business! PEOPLE ACTUALLY FALL FOR THESE PROMISES. DON'T BE A VICTIM! GET EDUCATED! GET EMPOWERED!! Check out the watchdog agencies for the industry such as scam.com, ripoffreport.com. Also go to Google and type in the owner of the businesses name, the business name. Also type in the owner's name with scam or ripoff after the name. For Example: Jones scam or Teletar SCAM. These are just phrases that come to mind at the moment not actual companies. It is your hard-earned money. Don't waste it.

Partner with Internet content companies. Don't buy a Turnkey Adult Website Business that comes with content that you supposedly own. You are getting shitty content. You want good High Definition quality content by partnering with content companies. I can send you a list of them if you desire. Just hit me up on email. The majority of our competition uses live feeds as content. This is megasite content which is not what the average person is looking for. Point is if you don't partner with the content companies you will have to become one to compete and that is very expensive.

Updates of Content - Partnering with content companies will assure you that your content will be updated often. With our Adult Website Design Business this is what we do. We and the content companies have a vested interest in you making money. We make more money when we assist you in making more. If content companies and design companies do not have a vested interest in you making money why would they update the content for you? The answer is simple for they wouldn't and so they don't. Do you know how expensive updating content is? If I was not making money by updating your content why would I waste my time doing it? I wouldn't. If you purchase a Website Turnkey Adult Business with content the Adult Design Company manages you will not get your content updated for you. The content will be old and will only get older because the design company has no interest in updating it. When you partner with content companies the content company only makes money by updating your content. This partnering with content companies is our website design business model and as far as we know it is the only model that works. We would not steer you in the wrong direction.

Don't bet the farm on one Turnkey Adult Website Business. This is an investment in your future; not a job. You are investing your hard-earned money. If you were to invest in the stock market it is better to invest in mutual funds than it is to invest in one stock and bet the farm on it. That stock comes with tremendous risk whereas the mutual fund tremendously reduces that risk. The point here is don't invest your hard earned money in one revenue stream when you can invest it in possibly 10. We do just that for all clients and the others should also otherwise they are just setting you up to fail miserably.

Just like in any other business, Keep costs and risk low. Get into niche specific markets with your adult website business. Don't be foolish and take on high risk and waste all your hard-earned money believing ridiculous claims of tremendous wealth. There is very good money to be made in this Adult Website Business Industry but only when you do your homework and partner with knowledgeable business people in the field. In the Adult Turnkey Website Business as in any other business you need to diversify your portfolio for risk and maximum return on investment. Profit with your own Adult TurnKey Business when you do your research on the industry and realize that real business takes time. Good Luck and Be Careful!! Some sharks are in the water in every industry.

Tips and Themes For an Adult Birthday Party

Planning a Chicago birthday party for a child or young adult is always a fun event to host. There are hundreds of birthday party ideas and themes available. You could host the event anywhere and the child is most likely going to have a great time. As we get older birthdays are not quite as exciting as they used to be and they're sometimes even dreaded. Turning the big 30, 40, or even 50 isn't always looked at as being a great thing so throwing a birthday event may be a great idea to lighten things up. Although some may not like this idea, most adults who reach their milestone birthdays are actually anticipating a big event.

When choosing to plan a Chicago birthday party event you may come up short with ideas and themes. Often times a lot of themes have been done before and you'd hate to have to imitate your friends. You'd like to host a party with a more adult theme as well and avoid any child themes. Finding these themes can be rather difficult and searching the internet you can often times come up short. This is why we've compiled a list of ideas that we've seen over the years while performing at adult Chicago birthday parties. Listed below are a few great ideas you may want to consider when planning your Chicago birthday party...

1) The Teen Years. This theme is great for those who are celebrating an adult birthday. If they are celebrating their 50th birthday they were born in the 1950s so you might consider throwing a 1950s themed party. The invitation could read the guest of honor's name and then it could say "is going back to the 50s". Then you could encourage your guests to dress the part with bright red lipstick, cheap white canvas shoes, and even some funky shades. There are several 1950's games you could play or you could opt into a trivia game coming up with questions that relate to the 1950s.

2) Genuine Antique Person. This theme can be looked at as more of a jest for someone in their older ages. We've seen it a few times for a few Chicago 50th birthday parties. The concept behind this theme is to create an old country western style theme. The ideas for decorations are only limited by your imagination. You may choose to use old rusty wheelbarrows to scatter throughout the room and use them as ice coolers. You could buy small rusted metal pails and fill them with flowers to use as centerpieces. You'll most likely opt for a lot of candles and antique signs. At this event you could have everyone dress in old antique western cloths or on their invitation invite each person to come as a different villager from an old town (ex: farmer, sheriff, bandit, etc).

3) Choose their Favorite. This theme is a little vaguer than the other themes. You'll want to find the person of honor's favorite thing to do or something they love and make that into a theme. An example would if a person loves to fish. You could then take that activity and create an entire theme around fishing. You could also use the idea of golfing. You could encourage everyone to come in their golf apparel and to bring their putters. You'll want to pick something that the guest of honor will enjoy and go with it. The possibilities are endless.

4) Imitation Parties. This theme is when all of your guests are invited to the birthday party and encouraged to imitate the birthday boy or girl. This can be great fun for your guests as they arrive at the birthday party and it'll create lots of laughter. At this party you could create a banner and invite your guests to sign the banner and tell a funny story. Then later in the evening you could roast the person with the banner. It'll create lots of laughter and good times!

5) In Memory of. This theme isn't for the faint of heart. As a joke you could theme your birthday party as a memorial party. Invite the guests to arrive in all black and invite them to write funny eulogies about the guest of honor. It may seem to be a weird them, but we've seen it done a couple times and if done properly it can be hilarious.

6) This is your Life. Instead of choosing to do an "over the hill" birthday party you may want to try hosting a "This is your Life Party". At this type of event you can send a questionnaire out with your invitation and ask your guests to complete it with their RSVP. You can then take these answers from the questionnaire and choose how to present them. Some have chosen to do a slideshow while others have made up a game show asking questions to the guests and creating a game out of it. You may even choose to roast the guest of honor. Some sample questions could be...

1. My favorite thing about ...(use guest of honors name) is ______________.

2. The funniest thing I ever saw ...do was when he _________________.

3. The happiest I ever saw ... was when he____________________.

4. The dumbest thing I ever saw ... do was____________________.

5. ... drives me crazy when he _______________.

6. My most memorable moment with ... was ____________________.

7. List five words that describe ...

7) Ice Cream Party. This theme is for all the sweet tooths. On the invitation you'll want to invite all the guests to bring their favorite ice cream toppers and their favorite ideas on how to build the perfect sundaes and banana splits. When everyone arrives you can surprise your guest of honor with the biggest and craziest bowl of ice cream. Another idea would be to purchase a large gutter section from a home improvement store and serve the ice cream varieties in a trough style.

8) Black and White. With this theme you'll encourage all the guests to dress in black and then have your guest of honor dressed in white (or vice versa). It makes for a fun formal night and the guest of honor is almost always recognized by their different apparel. You can also grab some great pictures!

These are just a few fun ideas you may want to consider when planning your Chicago Birthday party event. Not all of these themes may work for your guest of honor. You'll want to determine their personality and personal interests and go from there.
